ENTRY INFORMATION

Early bird entry fee USD $2,500 (before March 31st 2019). General entry fee after March 1st is USD $3,000. Added entry available from USD $50 – USD $10,000.

Added entries can be completed through our reservation system or on-site at registration on May 13th. Added entry levels are outlined below:

  1. The Basic Entry Fee is USD $2500 per boat on or before March 1st 2019 and USD $3000 after.
  2. Entry free entitles the anglers to compete for the guaranteed prize money. After the boat is officially entered in the tournament, the anglers have the option of entering their boat in the added skill levels. Entry fees for the added skill levels can be completed through the reservation software or will be taken at the on-site registration May 13 2019.
  3. The basic entry fee may be paid by cash, credit card, or wire transfer (no checks or bank drafts). We accept VISA and Mastercard only. A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to all credit card transactions. Payments are made out to Hurley’s Production Ltd.

  5. Early bird registration fee must be paid in full by March 31st. From April 1st, all early bird registration fees that have not been paid in full will forfeit the promotion and be required to pay the general entry fee of USD $3000.
  6. For general registrations outside of the early bird promotional  period, a 50% deposit is required. A 50% deposit must be made to be officially registered as a participating team. Final entry payment must be made by May 7 2019.
  7. Withdraw from the tournament:
    1. Any fees paid prior to March 1 2019 will be refunded in full.
    2. Withdrawals submitted on or after March 2, 2019 and before noon on Registration day—90% of the deposit will be refunded.
    3. Withdrawals submitted after 12 noon on Registration day—No refunds.
  8. There is no minimum or maximum boat size. See note “A” pertaining to boats under 36’ LOA.
    1. Only boats under 36’ LOA are eligible to enter and receive awards in the Small Boat added entry levels. Length Over All (LOA) is the horizontal distance between the outboard side of the foremost part (bow) of the hull and the outboard side of the aftermost part (stern) of the hull. It does not include bowsprits, rudders, outboard motor brackets, swim platforms that do not contain buoyant volume, and other similar fittings and attachments that are not part of the buoyant hull envelope.
  9. An unlimited number of anglers are allowed per boat, but all must be registered before the day an angler is to fish.
  10. Any person listed on the Official Cayman Billfish Rundown entry form will be considered an angler (i.e. Captain, Mate, Boat Owner). Anglers may also be registered by calling 345-333-6500 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
  11. All anglers must be registered prior to their day of fishing.
  12. In the event of a boat disability, contestants may transfer to a second boat and assume the original boat’s number without paying an additional entry fee.
  13. To enter, you must either; (a) officially register a boat, and/or (b) be registered as an angler on an officially registered boat, prior to fishing.
  14. Cancellation of Entire Tournament - If the tournament is cancelled for reasons outside of the tournament organizer’s control, deposits are forfeited; any additional fees paid are refunded in full.

Captain: Captain of boat that has most Billfish release points– winner take all

Mate: Mate of boat that has most Billfish Release Points – winner take all

Non-Billfish Doubler: The tournament will double the listed guaranteed prize money for all non-billfish categories. For example, the angler landing the 1st place Tuna would receive $10,000 for the guaranteed prize money plus a $10,000 bonus. Each winning fish will count for only one doubling bonus. If an angler lands the 1st and 2nd place Tuna, there is no 3rd place qualifying Tuna, that angler would receive $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 from the guaranteed prize money plus a $10,000 and $5,000 bonus. There is no limit to the number of bonus categories an angler may win.

Dolphin Bonus: $10,000 bonus to the heaviest Dolphin entered in the Dolphin Bonus.

Daily Billfish Points: There will be a daily cash award for the most billfish points accumulated by a boat each day. In the event that there is no daily billfish points winner on a given day, that day’s prize money will be divided equally among the other daily winners.

To be eligible for prize money all fish must meet the minimum lengths & weights set by the tournament.

A, B, C, D Levels –

E, WM or S Levels – In the event that no Sail Fish, White Marlins or Swordfish are released, the prize money will go to the boat with the most Blue Marlin Releases.

SBB Level- In the event that no Bill Fish are leased in the SBB level the prize money will be divided equally between the first-place qualifying fish: Mahi, Wahoo and Tuna

WM Level - In the event that no White Marlins are released, 90% of the added entry fee for Level WM will be refunded to the boats that are entered in that level.

F Level - In the event that no Blue Marlins are released, the prize money will go to the heaviest qualifying tuna. In the event that a qualifying tuna is not caught, the prize money will go to the first-place qualifying fish in the following order: wahoo, dolphin.

D1 & D2 Levels - If no minimum weight Dolphin is caught, the prize money will go to the heaviest qualifying fish in the following order: Wahoo, Tuna.

D3 Level – In the event that a qualifying Dolphin is not caught, the prize money will go to the first-place qualifying fish in the following order: Wahoo, Tuna

SBT Levels – In the event that a qualifying Tuna is not caught, the prize money will go to the first-place qualifying fish in the following order: Wahoo, Dolphin

M Level – In the event that there is no daily Meat Fish winner on a given day, that day’s prize will be divided equally among the other daily winners for that particular species.

DT Level - In the event that there is no daily Tuna winner on a given day, that day’s prize will be divided equally among the other daily winners.
